The Give Hope Hero Program was established in 2007, and has served to assist central Florida families battling childhood cancer. More than 80 families have reached out to us to help their 'hero'. Occasionally the request has been a 'wish' for the child - one family went to Disney for the weekend when they received the news that both the father and the son had cancer at the same time. Most times however, we have simply been asked to step in and provide very basic assistance.

For one family, we were able to arrange to make their house wheelchair compliant so that the mother who was in a special care facility would be allowed to come home and be with her little boy who was battling cancer. Another family's house burned to the ground while they were at the hospital for their son's chemotherapy treatment. By funding this program, you empower us to step in when tragic circumstances
strike and make a real difference for families right here in Central Florida.
